OUR APPROACH
Only 5-10% of cancers are strictly genetic
Which gives you a lot more power than you think
In other words, only and only caused by mutations inherited from our parents. Everything else is highly influenced by interaction with our environment. I invite you to think of your genes as light bulbs in a room. Environmental and lifestyle factors are like light switches that determine which bulbs are on or off. Depending on our environment, some genes are switched on, while others are switched off. And what does this mean for the daily lives of cancer patients? It means that they have much more power in their hands than just succumbing to the notion of randomness, bad luck or even the word “genetics”.
Emotional health is the number one cause of destabilisation in our bodies. All the choices we make after a certain traumatic event and the corresponding maladaptations our bodies may have, lead to poor eating habits, sedentary lives, chronic stress, insomnia and chronic fatigue, a departure from the sense of community typical of Western societies and, above all, a lack of alignment with our purpose. All this combined with a lifestyle far removed from our ancestry: an increasingly processed diet, exposure to toxins, makes our genome highly susceptible to mutations and subsequently to the development of cancer.
My support is personalised and focused on caring for and strengthening your anti-cancer soil. You need to pull out the “weeds” and optimise your soil during aggressive cancer treatments such as chemotherapy, immunotherapy, radiotherapy or surgery. If you don’t focus on your soil, your body won’t have the resilience it needs to regenerate.
I believe that cancer can be a new opportunity to seek a fuller life. There’s a reason why our body gives this cry for help. After all, why would such an intelligent machine whose goal is to survive as long as possible “attack itself”? The goal is far more noble and far more in your favour. It’s a new beginning, emotionally, spiritually, and above all, more aligned with you.
INTEGRATIVE ONCOLOGY
Integrative oncology is a medical approach that combines conventional cancer treatment methods with complementary therapies, aimed not only at treating the cancer itself, but also at addressing the patient’s general well-being during and after treatment. These complementary therapies can include dietary changes, nutritional supplements, physical exercise, relaxation techniques, mind-body therapies (such as meditation and yoga), among others. The aim of integrative oncology is to provide a holistic approach to cancer treatment, recognising the importance of treating not only the disease itself, but also the physical, emotional, social and spiritual aspects that affect the patient’s health. It seeks to improve the patient’s quality of life, reduce the side effects of conventional treatment, strengthen the immune system and promote a faster and more complete recovery.
